Save time chair-side and sharpen in 3 easy steps!

1. Load – sandwich the guide between your sharpening stone and in the proper rail of the guide (Gracey and Universal/Sickle) with the toe of the instrument with the cutting side down against the stone and the terminal shank is resting against the rail
2. Arch – using an arch motion run the instrument up and down the sharpening guide, making sure to sharpen the heel and toe of the instrument evenly on the stone as you carry out the stroke.
3. Toe – for universal and Gracey’s restore the toe by sliding the back of the foot of the instrument down the 45 slope and sweeping the toes of the instrument in a arching motion
